...Um... can anyone tell me what day it is?

[Which might explain why she came home to an empty house after being unceremoniously dumped in the woods about ten minutes away from it. She's surprisingly okay after a Mallynap, just kind of confused as to why everyone is gone this morning. (That might have something to do with it being a school day, woo. Not that she knows that.)

After some food and a good long nap, Suki will head out for some fresh air; she might linger around the smithy or the school, depending on the time of day. Bother her?]

[She pauses at that, one hand reaching out to steady herself on the wall. Of course he's sorry- he's not the kind of person who wouldn't be. And it's not like he would be a jerk about it, and she's never thought of him as perverted or anything... really, her being angry is completely unjustified. She's not even sure if she is angry- with him, at least.

But... why else would she want to hit him and cry for the rest of the day?]

...I know you are. [It's hard to keep her voice steady, and it shows with only marginal success.] I just... need some time.

[It's like he can feel a knot inside and as much as he wants to blame the Malnosso, he's not that kind of person. This is still his fault. He'd tried to be practical about the whole thing, but he could have done more. He should have. Why did he think it was just okay to go out in her body like it was no big deal?

So he knows that he deserves this. Like always, he just didn't think things through. And this time it was Suki who got hurt. His answer is his usual attempt to pretend things are okay, but it's a lot weaker than usual and utterly lacking in enthusiasm.]

... right. Okay, time. That, yeah, that's fine. No hurry.

[He ends up falling back a little, sitting on the arm of the couch she was on before. He doesn't have the right words to make things better.]

[Neither does she, though she wishes she did. She hates feeling this way, or making him feel bad, but this isn't something she can just sweep under the carpet. This is... very personal. Extremely so. And it's not something she ever imagined she'd have to deal with, either.]

...You should go back to school.

[She doesn't want him to be here in case... she needs the extra space. For something. Yeah.]

[... this is really not the reunion he was expecting. But he's not going to argue with her over this, even if he would rather stay around, somewhere close. He stands up and nods.]

... I'll be back later, then.

[Although he's not sure if he'll come back straight from school now. He goes back to the door, grabs his stuff, and opens the door to leave. In fact, he's pretty sure he's not up to going back to class for today.]

[Suki turns to look at the door only after he's left, just to make sure. Later... she's not sure how that will go, either.

For now, though, she's just going to retreat into her room for a good long while. With the house empty and free of anyone she might make feel guilty, she can have a good cry like she's wanted to since he confessed the truth.]
