Well... now that the draft is over, I think it's a good time to do this. Because of all the fighting we have do while we're here, either by choice or by force, it's a good idea to have some understanding of combat in case of an emergency. From what I heard about this last battle, even the people who took refuge weren't able to stay out of the fight. We can't really afford to take chances like that anymore, and I'd like to do something about that- so I have a proposal for the girls of Luceti.

First of all, I'm Suki. I know I look young, but where I'm from, I lead a group of girls known as the Kyoshi Warriors. We're well-trained in combat, and the focus of our style is a mix of defense, stealth, and using our opponent's strength against them. Girls are often smaller and not as strong as men, and it's very important to never view that as a weakness.

None of my warriors are here right now, but I want to start the group here anyway. There's no age limit, no experience needed, you just have to be willing to listen and learn. If you'd like to join, or ask me questions, please, let me know, okay? And if you don't want to get involved in my group, Buffy runs a fighting school as well, and I'm sure there's plenty of great teachers willing to help there, too.

I just don't want to see anyone else get hurt if it can be avoided, so... I hope you'll all think about it.

I have never used katanas, but I use rapiers. Uhm... Is there a test or something we have to pass?

No, no test! I'm keeping the membership open to any girl who wants to try. I can't expect everyone to know how to fight right from the start, after all.

Pleased to meet you, too! So, how much experience do you have?

My father is the leader of the British Knights and my mother is the only woman capable of ever defeating him if what people say is correct. Both are great fencers as well as my brother, so I've been practicing since I was young due mother's insistence.

[This is probably one of the first times she has said so much about her family, though she's still leaving some details aside, but those don't really matter now.]

Sounds impressive! I'm sure you'll be a great help to the girls with less experience, in that case.

[She's happy to get anyone, of course, but it's much more helpful to have a few girls who already have training.]

[Giggle. Actually it kind of is but Lizzie always play humble, it's bad enough that she's going out on this.]

I am more than willing to help those who would need it, I just hope I am capable of really helping them.

I'm sure you will be! At the very least, having someone else who's confident and can fight might give them some encouragement.

That's true, seeing my mother often gave me encouragement during my training.

[Not to mention that it was like some sort of goal, to be as good as her so she would be proud.]

Do you have in mind any meeting schedule or something? Anything to prepare that I could help with?

I haven't made any plans for sure yet, but I'm thinking about it. First I have to look into knowing how many people we have and what day would be good to meet.

If it serves for anything I have no complains about meeting in any particular day. My schedule is rather free and it can be adapted easily.
