...Um... can anyone tell me what day it is?

[Which might explain why she came home to an empty house after being unceremoniously dumped in the woods about ten minutes away from it. She's surprisingly okay after a Mallynap, just kind of confused as to why everyone is gone this morning. (That might have something to do with it being a school day, woo. Not that she knows that.)

After some food and a good long nap, Suki will head out for some fresh air; she might linger around the smithy or the school, depending on the time of day. Bother her?]

[He just has to grab his stuff and he'll so be there.]

[He can find her at home, waiting for him by the couch with a blanket and a warm tea. She hasn't been waiting for him at all, nope.]

[Once he walks in, he quickly spots Suki on the couch. He has to admit, Suki is a lot prettier when he's not looking at her in a reflection. A grin forms on his face as he closes the door behind him, dropping his stuff off by the door.]

There's my favorite Kyoshi Warrior!

[And there's her favourite.... Water Tribe Warrior! (ha.) She tosses back the blanket and stands up, heading over to greet him, in part to at least show him that yes, she's in one piece.]

Sokka! I'm glad to see you...

[She gets a sudden and quick hug. He would SQUEEZE, but he has no idea if she can take it or not.]

Me too. I'm glad you're in one piece still.

[She reaches up to hug him back, and she has no qualms about holding him tightly. She knows exactly how fragile she isn't.]

And that one piece is just fine.

[Very, very fine. He ends the hug with a brief squeeze before pulling back.]

Good. But you're not going to start telling me how nice the Malnosso are now, right?

[Since that totally happened to him. And it annoyed everyone ever.]

[That earns him a weird look.]

Definitely not. To be honest, I don't even remember what happened while I was gone.

[Hence the whole "what day is it" thing.]

... good. Some things are best not remembered.

[He doesn't remember his second time, not really. But he does remember almost everything from the first time, thanks to John's barcode alteration.]

Anyway! The important thing is that you're back!

[How does he just come out and say, "I spent half a week in your body"? It can't be done!]

Well, we were all kind of turning into things or people we like... love, you know. Stuff like that.

[He has no idea what to say at this point. "Sorry" has so, so many meanings in this context.]

[Oh god. Oh god. How is she supposed to feel about this? Should she freak out? Should she be mad? She doesn't even know. Pardon her while this information sinks in.]

D... did you... [Sh-she can't even ask! How long was he like that!? He must have seen something...!]

Or she would, if he wasn't completely right: he didn't get to pick. No one ever chooses to be affected by these things. She'd be flattered if it hadn't meant... well. What it meant. And she's not sure she can handle this right now.

Shakily, she lowers her hand, remaining still and avoiding his eyes for a long moment before she brushes past him and swiftly beelines for her bedroom.
