Hey everyone, just a head's up that Sokka and I will be unavailable for a few days. We should be back sometime next week, so don't worry.

And if you see him first, do me a favour and don't tell him! But you can wish him a happy anniversary, if you want.

Kyoshi Warriors, if you could check in and let me know you're alright, I'd appreciate it, especially after that last experiment. I'd like to make sure we still have a full roster of members. This Sunday's practice is cancelled since I'll be out of the village, but don't slack off on your training, okay?

Oh, and if anyone is curious, the Kyoshi Warriors of Luceti are a group of girls learning self-defense and stealth combat techniques. If anyone is interested in joining or finding out more about the group, I'd be happy to answer any questions!

[With that, Suki makes herself busy with some packing. She'll make a round to all of her housemates first to let them know she and Sokka will be AWOL, then it's off to the smithy, backpack in hand, to ninja-kidnap her unsuspecting fiance.]

[Huh... didn't really do that sort of thing on Kyoshi Island.]

Oh? You don't know about skiing? It's...a hobby-slash-sport. For the winter. Lots of slipping and sliding involved on long flat...skis.

[kyoshi]

I've never done anything like that. [Slipping and sliding... like what Katara does? Because that would be tricky without waterbending.]

[herotypical]

It's pretty fun-filled. But the real highlight is the lodge. Curling up by the fire with a cup of cocoa and your honey.

[kyoshi]

I like the sound of that. Maybe Sokka and I should try that someday, too.

[Assuming they're still here next winter.]

Maybe for the Honeymoon, huh?

[kyoshi]

...Well... [Tricky subject. She doesn't want to get all upset about it or even sound upset over the journals, now.] I don't know about that. We haven't picked a date or done any planning.

[herotypical]

...I guess it's not like it has to be rushed.

[kyoshi]

No, I know. I'm not worried or anything.

[...Maybe a little. But she's trying not to be!]

B-besides! There's nothing wrong with enjoying what you have right now. The way it is. Without rushing.

[ she's slipped into talking about myself through you territory. ]

Mm, I know. And it's nice to dream about things like the honeymoon whether a wedding is planned or not. A lot of girls do that anyway, right?

Yeah. [ she stammers. ] A-all of us.

[She hadn't exactly clued in before, but the second stammer is a little telling.]

Anyone should could themselves lucky to have what you too have.

And it means a lot to be a serial failure at relationships but still see some people doing it right out there.

[Serial failure... oh dear. That sounds more personal than she was prepared for.]

...I think... everyone has to fall a couple of times before they find the right way to go. And we're definitely not perfect.

I know. I just don't want to feel like some kind of role model for romance just because we got lucky. It's pretty intimidating...

[herotypical]

Oh. Yikes. I...didn't mean to intimidate. I don't, usually. Or...not like that.

No, it's... it's okay. I hope that you get a happy ending too, someday soon.

[She's been with Jack for a long time now, hasn't she? Why the heck isn't he making her happy the way Sokka is for her?]
