Hey everyone, just a head's up that Sokka and I will be unavailable for a few days. We should be back sometime next week, so don't worry.

And if you see him first, do me a favour and don't tell him! But you can wish him a happy anniversary, if you want.

Kyoshi Warriors, if you could check in and let me know you're alright, I'd appreciate it, especially after that last experiment. I'd like to make sure we still have a full roster of members. This Sunday's practice is cancelled since I'll be out of the village, but don't slack off on your training, okay?

Oh, and if anyone is curious, the Kyoshi Warriors of Luceti are a group of girls learning self-defense and stealth combat techniques. If anyone is interested in joining or finding out more about the group, I'd be happy to answer any questions!

[With that, Suki makes herself busy with some packing. She'll make a round to all of her housemates first to let them know she and Sokka will be AWOL, then it's off to the smithy, backpack in hand, to ninja-kidnap her unsuspecting fiance.]

I've had experienced fighters join the group before, and it's not a problem. Here in Luceti our main function is to give us girls a group where we can learn and grow stronger together. I think everyone has something they can learn as well as something they can teach, no matter how experienced they already are.

[ On a scale of one to ten on how satisfied Tenten is with that answer, Tenten gives Suki a 20. ]

Excellent! If that's the case, then I'd be definitely interested in joining. Where do you guys meet? [ As Tenten ponders this question, she wonders just how awesome the term, "Kyoshi Kunoichi" sounds. ]

That's great! We meet every Sunday at the Battle Dome, around 9 in the morning. By the way, how do you feel about uniforms?

Every Sunday?! At 9!? [ Tenten sounds excited! ] You mean I get to sleep in?! [ Regular wake up time with Guy-sensei was 5:30! This is a blessing! ] I don't mind uniforms as long as they don't hinder my movement or anything. If they aren't a hassle, I'll be fine. [ Which is true. Tenten normally stuck to baggy clothes for easy movement. ] I do have an item I'll have to wear no matter what though. [ She wouldn't be taking off that Konoha headband just to practice with others. Her loyalty trumps whatever could be going on in this group, as much as she loves the group already. ]

[9AM is sleeping in? And Winry had been unhappy about the early mornings too... there's all types here.]

I don't have any trouble moving in it. It might look tricky at first glance if you're not used to it, but I think it's really very comfortable. And it's okay if you have your own accessories or clothes to go with it- we're not really that formal. The outfits are to help with group dynamics and to confuse an opponent when we fight in a group more than anything else. Well, that, and it's a tradition I've followed all my life.

[ An in depth study on bed times should be made! ]

Well, I'm sure I'll be able to catch on fast. There are more complex things I've handled than clothes. [ It'd be humiliating if she was taken down by Kyoshi warrior armor! ] Thank you for understanding, though. [ She briefly bows. She knows the reason behind uniforms. All of her allies wore the same outfit in the recent war for some very understandable reasons. ] I didn't know conformity could confuse an enemy, though. I guess that makes sense... [ In a world, filled with ninja, most of them choose to wear their own style and their own affiliation on just about every mission - even if it requires to blend in. Uniform benefits for a ninja aren't thought about at all in her world. As long as you aren't wearing something terrible inconvenient, they're fighting clothes!

However, the mention of uniforms and the discussion of them prompts Tenten to ask another question. ] Also, how well can they conceal things? We're talking about anything from large scrolls to small blades.

If you're fighting a group of enemies and they all look roughly the same, it can be hard to keep track of who you're fighting and how many there actually are, especially in a fight when there's so much movement going on at all times. It's worked in our favour a lot in the past.

[Scrolls and blades, though, hmm.]

I've been able to hide weapons in the skirt folds of the uniform. It depends on how big the items are and how they'll move when you do, so you might need to experiment a little.

Yeah. I get that. It's why some people in my world make clones to fight with them, so if the opponent strikes a clone and not them, they don't get hurt. The clone just pops into dust.

[ Hm. All right. She can work with that. ]

All right, then I guess I'll stop by the shops and see if there are any scrolls I can use for this and just seal everything in smaller scrolls. [ It's a good thing she has spare space on all of her scrolls. ]

What do you do with scrolls, though? I've never heard of using them for weapons.

[Assuming that's what she means, though. She had asked about weapons, so in context, it fits, but... really? Scrolls are weapons?]

It's difficult to explain. Basically, I store weaponry in there. They can be anything from projectiles, to staffs, to explosives. Would you like a demonstration?

[ She's open to showing her ability to a future comrade. Hopefully disclosing this information will become handy in the future! ]

...Weapons... in scrolls? I...

S.. sure! I'd love to see it!

[Seems like it's something she'll have to see to believe.]

All right. [ The feed clicks on to show the petite Tenten with a scroll in front of her. She unrolls it and turns her head and nods to Suki for conformation that she's paying attention. She doesn't want to summon something only for them to be distracted or something similar! ]

[Oh, she's definitely watching. Rather intently, actually.]

[ Tenten does a series of hand signs quickly before pressing her hands down onto the scroll. ] Hut-!

[ Immediately, a variety of weapons spring from the scrolls. There's a brief white, puffy, cloud-like smoke that dissipates but it doesn't obscure Suki's view. Kunai, shurikens, even bladed fans, all spring upwards and seem to launch itself high into the air. While heavier items like swords and staffs fall quickly but they're still just as noticeable. ]

Was that good? Did you see it?

[Ffffffffffwuh. She just turned a scroll into weapons.

That. Is amazing.]

Oh... oh, whoa! Incredible! How did you do that?

I seal my weaponry in the scroll before hand. Then I just release them whenever to use them in combat. Because of this, I have a vast amount of weaponry I've mastered and can use expertly in combat. [ She nods, happy to explain. ]

Wow... I've never seen anything like it before! That must be so useful in battle!

[Suffice to say she is impressed.]

It is. Sort of. Back home, people can launch fireballs from their mouths and can summon strength that can take out entire mountain sides with a single blow. This levels the playing field, somewhat for me, but it's a bit tough to overcome some enemies and their talents. [ Like manipulating shadows, becoming three trillion times larger, mind control!!!

Tenten has a hard time keeping up with everyone ): ]

Here, it's one of the most handy abilities. I'm quite surprised!

They sound like benders.

[Maybe not quite the same, considering bending seems to work differently in other worlds. But still, manipulation of the elements is undeniably impressive.]

Are those scroll abilities the kind of thing that anyone could learn, or are you born with it?

Benders? I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with your terminology. Are they like, elemental attack users or something?

[ She considers the question before answering. ]

It's not really either or. Anyone can learn it as long they have Chakra. However, that's only for sealing items. I can make prearranged scrolls for just about anyone to use as long as they have good timing skills, but I guess I can temper with the activation requirements for those not too skilled with timing. [ woohoo for canon vagueness! ]

Oh, yes. That's exactly what they are, actually. [She's quick.] What's chakra?

[ She's very detailed oriented. ]

Chakra is a form of energy that's found in cells of people in my world. If someone has life energy that can mold and manipulate, then it might be able to work. I've never tested it, actually.

Life energy... that you can use to summon weapons? [If she's understanding it right. Wow.] How did you learn something like this?

That's pretty much it. [ She starts to reseal the weaponry. After preforming some rapid hand signs, the weaponry pile slowly, but surely, returns to the source. ] I learned it primarily from Guy-sensei, though, it's a skill most ninja can pick up on as long as they're good at manipulating their chakra. There, they can store just about anything. Weaponry is the most common one, though, techniques and even people aren't unheard of!

...People? What do you mean?
