Hey everyone, just a head's up that Sokka and I will be unavailable for a few days. We should be back sometime next week, so don't worry.

And if you see him first, do me a favour and don't tell him! But you can wish him a happy anniversary, if you want.

Kyoshi Warriors, if you could check in and let me know you're alright, I'd appreciate it, especially after that last experiment. I'd like to make sure we still have a full roster of members. This Sunday's practice is cancelled since I'll be out of the village, but don't slack off on your training, okay?

[With that, Suki makes herself busy with some packing. She'll make a round to all of her housemates first to let them know she and Sokka will be AWOL, then it's off to the smithy, backpack in hand, to ninja-kidnap her unsuspecting fiance.]

[She's. Admittedly kind of hoping not. It's hard to privately celebrate one's anniversary with company.]

Well, we've got some food in the cottage, and Sokka's out exploring or something for the moment. Did you want to have some tea?

...Are you sure, Suki-chan? I really don't want to intrude.

I don't mind. Sokka won't be back for a while anyway, and you look like you could use it.

[...Well. Standing, shrugging] If you insist~?

I invite. But come on. [She waves for him to follow, leading the way into the bathhouse. He can come or leave as he likes, she's not going to harass him about it.

...Still. Might be nice to talk.]

[Okay, okay. He'll follow with a smile not quite sincere but still plastered on his lips. He can kill a little time and if she's inviting...]

If you're going to say things like that, you'd better be ready to duck. Sokka brought his boomerang.

[She goes about setting the kettle to boil once she're in the kitchenette, fetching a couple of teacups.]

I think I missed a memo where I can't compliment you, Suki-chan.

[But okay, fair enough]

No memo, not even a rule. I just figured you deserved fair warning.

[She knows that Sokka doesn't like you putting the moves on his sister. What would happen if he noticed the fiancee compliments?]

Mmm, it's fair. [He says this sheepishly as he finds a good wall to lean against. He... well no he can fault Sokka, but he can't fault him too much]

[Give her a minute, and she'll head back over with a steaming cup in hand, offering it out to him. The teabag is still in it - sorry, slow-brewing stuff just isn't practical on a camping trip - so he can have it as strong or weak as he likes.]

...Have you spoken to her since things went back to normal?

[She's pretty sure he doesn't want to discuss it, but there are a few things she'd like to hear, honestly.]

[He takes it, and he'll regulate that yeah... but at that question he recoils a bit and shakes his head] No, I haven't. [A pause, and he slides into sitting against the wall, still holding the cup] I told her I was leaving and I'd see her when I was right.

That's not much. [Probably for the best, though. He should get his thoughts straight before he tries to handle this issue.]

..Ah, well. I did kill her.

[Okay, she knows there's something wrong with that one. Especially since she just saw Katara.]

I killed her. Specifically, the "her" that knew I was from your world.
