Hey everyone, just a head's up that Sokka and I will be unavailable for a few days. We should be back sometime next week, so don't worry.

And if you see him first, do me a favour and don't tell him! But you can wish him a happy anniversary, if you want.

Kyoshi Warriors, if you could check in and let me know you're alright, I'd appreciate it, especially after that last experiment. I'd like to make sure we still have a full roster of members. This Sunday's practice is cancelled since I'll be out of the village, but don't slack off on your training, okay?

Oh, and if anyone is curious, the Kyoshi Warriors of Luceti are a group of girls learning self-defense and stealth combat techniques. If anyone is interested in joining or finding out more about the group, I'd be happy to answer any questions!

[With that, Suki makes herself busy with some packing. She'll make a round to all of her housemates first to let them know she and Sokka will be AWOL, then it's off to the smithy, backpack in hand, to ninja-kidnap her unsuspecting fiance.]

Great. So that just makes it you and me. [He slips his hand towards hers in a romantic sort of way... before tugging her along. LET'S GET GOING.] You brought everything we need, right?

[She lets him pull her happily, scooping up the bag as they pass it.]

I think I brought enough, but you can double-check if you want. If we need more food we can pick some up now, or you can just do your thing out in the woods.

[Hot springs hunting trip, what could be better?]

[Oh ho, a chance to kill food for his lady? He's down with that.]

In that case, I think we're good. [Spotting the gear at the entrance, he goes ahead and picks up his share of the load.] This is just we need. No experiments, no kidnappings, no drafts, and no missions. Just you and me and-- wait, Zuko knows to feed Hawky right?

[She offers him a musing smile for that one. It's their anniversary and he's worrying about the bird?]

Relax, the rest of the house will be well taken care of while we're gone.

[Wow, Sokka. Clouds is the best you can do?]

Maybe I should consider myself lucky that you didn't plan this one.

[He did do well for his arranged outings last year, though, so she's not really serious.]

Hey, I had ideas for tonight. I was thinking a romantic dinner on top of one of the buildings. Sure, it would be a lot of stairs and pretty tiring, but we would have had a great view!

[But the view from the mountains is way better, so.]

You can save them for a date night, how about that?

[Her expression - on top of the response - makes for a pretty clear message that she is very much down with that idea.]

I could, but I'm pretty sure I ruined the surprise and we can basically never do it now.

[Or this is his secret way of making it an option again!!]

It doesn't have to be a surprise for it to be an acceptable date. [Don't you be denying her a moonlight dinner for two now that you've mentioned it, buster! She'll tell everyone how stingy you are.]

No, I'm pretty sure there's a rule about that. If you know it's coming, it's not very romantic.

What? That's the silliest rule I've ever heard of.

Well I don't make the rules. I'm just doomed to have to surprise you with romantic stuff.

Hm... well, if you insist. You'll just have to come up with something better next time.

Well I have several ideas, but I can't discuss them, otherwise I wouldn't be able to use them.

In that case, I won't pry- I like your surprises.

[Facepalm... okay, she'll give him that. In Sokka's mind every word is fair game for a pun.

Whatever, that's her husband-to-be. With a patient smile she gives his hand a tug and picks up the pace, eager to get there. They have an anniversary to celebrate, after all.]

[Okay okay! We're going. At the teleporter. Though Sokka gets distracted by all the stuff in the Rec Center.]

... we really should try out the TV here sometime.

I watched it once! It was neat. I think it would be easy to get hooked on it though.
