Hey everyone, just a head's up that Sokka and I will be unavailable for a few days. We should be back sometime next week, so don't worry.

And if you see him first, do me a favour and don't tell him! But you can wish him a happy anniversary, if you want.

Kyoshi Warriors, if you could check in and let me know you're alright, I'd appreciate it, especially after that last experiment. I'd like to make sure we still have a full roster of members. This Sunday's practice is cancelled since I'll be out of the village, but don't slack off on your training, okay?

Oh, and if anyone is curious, the Kyoshi Warriors of Luceti are a group of girls learning self-defense and stealth combat techniques. If anyone is interested in joining or finding out more about the group, I'd be happy to answer any questions!

[With that, Suki makes herself busy with some packing. She'll make a round to all of her housemates first to let them know she and Sokka will be AWOL, then it's off to the smithy, backpack in hand, to ninja-kidnap her unsuspecting fiance.]

[It's okay. He's fine with her failure of a threat. He does know the date, after all.]

Hmm... I guess that's good enough. [Suki lets him go, stepping back to lean away with a smile. The packed bag is waiting for them at the door.]

[He finally turns around. He's suspicious, but the good kind of suspicious. Like a kid examining a wrapped present.]

So, what's the big surprise then? I though I was the one supposed to come up with something.

[kyoshi]

There's no rule that says I can't have a turn! [She clasps her hands together behind her back, then glances over at the doorway.] Everything's all set- I just have to kidnap you.

[markofthewise]

Kidnap me, huh? Does that mean you're going to carry me away?

[Then again, she might be able to do it. And he'd never live it down.]

[kyoshi]

Hmm... I could try it, but what would people say? You wouldn't look very manly.

[And one should never mess with Sokka's manliness.]

[markofthewise]

Well I could always carry you, but that wouldn't seem like effective kidnapping on your part.

[kyoshi]

Yeah, that's true. In that case you'd better just walk.

[markofthewise]

[Walk it is! He starts towards the door, but stops in front of it.]

Hey, how long will I be kidnapped?

[kyoshi]

Oh, I hadn't decided... a couple of days? That's all I really packed for.

[markofthewise]

[... he was thinking afternoon. Wow.]

Where are we going?

[kyoshi]

So much for the surprise.

[She teases, though; the surprise was the trip itself. The destination doesn't really matter.]

But it's the hot springs. Does that sound okay?

[markofthewise]

Are you kidding? It's better than okay. There won't be anyone else there, right?

[kyoshi]

I don't know for sure... but we could always try to turn off the teleporter.

Well I do happen to know how they work.

In that case, I think we'll be on our own.

Well, there's no time like the present. I'll just write a note here for Hiccup and Winry.

[He pulls out a piece of paper and pen from somewhere and taps his chin thoughtfully.

"Dear Hiccup and Winry,

I've been kidnapped.

Please keep the place clean.

-Sokka"]

There. That should work.

[kyoshi]

...You're terrible.

[But she's giggling, anyway. The kidnapper robots don't generally give a person time to write out a note, so it's probably safe to assume they won't fret about it.]

[markofthewise]

[He's grinning, even if it is a bit evil.]

It's not like they'll think the robots got me! Did you leave a note at home for everyone else?

[kyoshi]

I talked to the others, so they know not to expect us at home for a few days. I've got you all to myself now!

[markofthewise]

Great. So that just makes it you and me. [He slips his hand towards hers in a romantic sort of way... before tugging her along. LET'S GET GOING.] You brought everything we need, right?

[kyoshi]

[She lets him pull her happily, scooping up the bag as they pass it.]

I think I brought enough, but you can double-check if you want. If we need more food we can pick some up now, or you can just do your thing out in the woods.

[Hot springs hunting trip, what could be better?]

[Oh ho, a chance to kill food for his lady? He's down with that.]

In that case, I think we're good. [Spotting the gear at the entrance, he goes ahead and picks up his share of the load.] This is just we need. No experiments, no kidnappings, no drafts, and no missions. Just you and me and-- wait, Zuko knows to feed Hawky right?

[kyoshi]

[She offers him a musing smile for that one. It's their anniversary and he's worrying about the bird?]

Relax, the rest of the house will be well taken care of while we're gone.

[markofthewise]

[That bird is very special to him!]
